Hi, I purchased a B.face X2 PCB a while ago and just finished assembling it.

I have bright white LEDs in the switches and it worked fine for a couple of days. I set up Fn shortcuts for LED light settings etc.

Now all of a sudden when I plug in the keyboard, the LED lights are dark. Then when I press any key, the LED (for all the keys) lights up for 3 seconds, and then fades out completely over 2-3 seconds. This happens for around 20 seconds, after that the LEDs go completely black and I can’t do anything to turn them back on.

What’s going on here? I thought I had entered some special light mode but it won’t go away even after reflashing. Any issue with the resistor/capacitors?

The shortcut I am doing is LED on/off.

    Hi

    I can’t find anything wrong.

    Please see http://winkeyless.kr/infomation-on-ps2avru-and-ps2avrgb/.

Providing interface to change LED mode : While pressing “ESC”, press “Caps Lock” for specific times

    1 time : LED off
    2 times : Fading
    3 times : LED on
4 times and then any key down : Getting brighter
5 times and then any key down : Getting darker

    Thank you! This solved it!

I have one more question. Why do I always get “invalid file type” when trying to load a saved keymap_part.hex? Any way to convert it to json?

Edit: nvm, apparently you upload it as firmware under Options. Works great now!

Did you upload firmware or keymap file?
    (Please read http://blog.winkeyless.kr/183)

Could you send me the file?
