Hello everyone,
I’m completely new to all of this. I want to place a custom request build on a keyboard. I want the B.mini with tenkey so the B.mini EX! I’m so excited for this board!!!
So far I think I need:
1. Housing: Acrylic Case with RGB Diffuser
2. PCB: B.Mini EX X2
3. Switches: Brown Plate-mounted
4. Stabilizers: Winkey style
5. Diodes: What are they? Can anyone explain?
6. Resistors: What are these also? Can anyone please explain!
7. Controller parts: I’m assuming I definitely need this!! HA!
8. RGB LED parts: Are these the LED’s that make the keyboard glow around the edges and bottom?
Something like this?: http://winkeyless.kr/product/b-87r-x2-pcb/
9. I won’t be needing in-switch LEDs as my keycaps aren’t translucent.
10. Soldering Switch – Is this like dip switches on the back?
11. I’m guessing I don’t need lubing? Unless I should?
12. What are stickers even for?
13. Anyone know where to get keycaps for the last row on this keyboard? They seem like it is completely different from regular layouts. Thanks for all your help!!! 😀
If I’m missing anything or anyone recommend other options, just let me know! 😀August 7, 2015 at 8:10 pm #1027Also whats the difference between the the caps lock positioning and space bar positioning of cherry and majestouch

Your selections are almost perfect. Here are my answers to your curisioties.5. Diodes: What are they? Can anyone explain?
-> They are necessary for switches. For general meaning, please see the wiki(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diode)6. Resistors: What are these also? Can anyone please explain!
-> You don’t need them if you don’t want in-switch LEDS. Resistors are controlling in-switch LED electricity currency.(for general meaning, please see wiki)8. RGB LED parts: Are these the LED’s that make the keyboard glow around the edges and bottom?
-> Yes you are right.10. Soldering Switch – Is this like dip switches on the back?
-> Yes you are right.11. I’m guessing I don’t need lubing? Unless I should?
-> You are right. It’s a personal preference. It’s not essential, but optional.12. What are stickers even for?
-> Functionally it prevents the top part of a switch from wobbling.
Next, someone says, aesthetically it looks good.13. Anyone know where to get keycaps for the last row on this keyboard? They seem like it is completely different from regular layouts.
-> Sorry I bought them from a GB. You can find them by searching on-line.Also whats the difference between the the caps lock positioning and space bar positioning of cherry and majestouch
-> Only pics can explain the difference. See the page http://winkeyless.kr/capslock-position/thanks.

August 8, 2015 at 2:46 am #1036Thank you so much for the explanations!!
Now could you tell me the difference between win key stabilizers and win keyless stabilizers and none? I’m having a difficult time looking them up.
Edit: never mind I’m stupid! I’m using windows key so there’s only one option for me to pick! XD

August 8, 2015 at 3:07 am #1038You know a full keyboard needs a set of stabilizers, which is composed of 4~7 short stabilizers and 1 long stabilizers for a spacebar.(Ten key pad doesn’t need long one.)
It decides the length of the Spacebar stabilizer.
– Winkeyless’s spacebar stabilizer is 7unit long.
– Winkey’s is 6.25unit long.- This reply was modified 9 years, 4 months ago by flashteker@gmail.com.
August 13, 2015 at 1:50 am #1063Would winkeyless be able to get clear cherry housing for the switches and switch all the black housing to clear housing?
And is it possible for me to request specific switches for different keys?
– Alphabets – Browns
– Numeric – Blues
– Etc.August 13, 2015 at 7:21 am #1070We don’t recommend nor offer a service to change switch’s top case to clear one.
And, yes it’s possible to put the different switches to each key.
Thanks.

1. Is it possible to get costar stabilizers instead of cherry?
2. Is it possible for winkeyless to get the new RGB cherry switches?
