Can't upload the hexfile + the pcb doesn't work?

So I wanted to change something in the layout and accidentally pressed upload to start with, so now none of the keys works.

I’ve tried to upload the keymap_part(thumb)(face)(XTen) but it keep saying that it isn’t a hexfile.

I’ve also made sure my firmware ps2avrGB4U_NKRO.hex is up to date.

 

Now I got tired of it and just did the whole layout myself and after that I clicked “Upload” and now it just say processing.

 

tried other usb cables and other ports. none are working. the keyboard worked just fine before this.

tried to delete the driver, which did not work either. out of idea right now

Anyway….

It’s quite easy to upload keymap file.
(First of all, download BootmapperClient and firmware files : http://winkeyless.kr/firmware-installing-and-setting/)

1. Open BootmapperClient.

2. Press the button “Load .hex/.json”

3. Choose proper keymap file.

 

4. Press “upload” button.

and your firmware file is “ps2avrGB_NKRO.hex”

see that’s the thing tho, when i upload the hex file it says that it’s not a keymap file.. never had that 

tried to redownload the hexfile, the firmware, the bootloader, the driver everything.

I think you downloaded a wrong firmware(ps2avrGB4U).

Please download this file(https://github.com/showjean/ps2avrU/releases).

– Your firmware file is “ps2avrGB_NKRO.hex”.

– Keymap one is “keymap_gb_EN_face_thumb(r)(x2)..hex

was indeed the wrong firmware and i can now get the hexfile into bootloader.

 

we got another problem now tho, when trying to upload the other firmware it’s stuck on waiting.. tried to wait it out for 10min and tried to uninastall the driver (again) but it’s just stuck there.

also when trying to upload the new layout it stuck on this –

Did you upload the correct firmware?(ps2avrgb_NKRO.hex)

In the tap “Options”, you will find the section “Utils”.
In that section you can upload the firmware file after entering bootloader mode.

If you can’t get into bootloader mode,
reconnect it while pressing LCtrl.
