Hi Hojin, I’m wondering if I can have a button that opens up a folder on the computer similar to your MyCom button http://puu.sh/tg95G/446774dba2.png  or one that can open a path with exe… is it possible? and how should I do it? on the bootMapper

    Thanks

    Hi

It’s not possible to set a shortcut to execute  Window Cmd or to open a specific path by using BootmapperClient.

Actually it is not a keyboard function, but Window’s.

    Hey Hojin,

I found a pretty easy work around to open not only folders but also programs by using your Custom Macro commands together with Windows Run.  I wanted to share it with you. Here are the steps with some screen shots if you wanted to post anywhere.

    1) Create a shortcut of any folder or program you want.

*Keep in mind that the name of the shortcut is the name of the Run command.

    2) Move the shortcut file from your desktop to your Windows/System32 folder.

3)Create a Macro in the BootMapper.

Now when you click your CustomMacro it should open up Windows Run and run the file/exe command.

Oh Really thanks for your kind explanation.

I’ll provide this when someone asks the same question.

    Thanks.
