    Hi!

I bought a B.mini from you, with no soldering.I did the sodlering, checked the polarities several times, no overflow anywhere, but as I plug in the keyboard I got an “unknown USB device” error, as it won’t recognise the keyboard.

Tried to plug into other machine, and with another cable, and even tried to solder a usb cable to the pcb.Same result.

Where to begin with the troubleshoot?

I could upload pictures tomorrow, since it is in the evening, and I don’t have a decent camera with me.

    order number: 5318

    Thank you very much

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

First of all I think you should check your soldering around controller parts.
Could you show me the pcb around controller parts?

And the best way to prevent you from wrong installing,
Check it works step by step.

After soldering controller parts, please check your PC recognizes your PCB without any other things soldered.
Then add diodes->Then check it works->Then…..

    Thanks.

    Hi!

At first I tried to connect the keyboard without the diodes, with the same result.

I made  a picture, without the flux removed since, I had no alcohol with me.

    Thanks

    Hi

    1. Please remove flux first.

    2. Check the connector. Are you sure you added it well.

    3. You can check your PCB is working or not. Please follow this guide(http://winkeyless.kr/how-to-check-a-pcb-is-working/)

    Thanks.

    Hi!

I managed to clean the board, and it just worked.

For a bit at least. i cleaned again, and it went perfect.

I loaded everything, every key worked perfectly, put the pcb to tha desk, and 2 days after, it just got the same error.

The PCB is working, but i have no clue what is happening.

Judging from the symptom, I am sure there is a electric short.

There is no other way but cleaning the soldering points with that short.
You should find out where they are.

    Thanks.

I’ll do that as soon as I’ll have time
