    Hi,

my RGB LEDs stopped working. They all used to work fine then the bottom row stopped working and shortly after all of them stopped working.

I thought maybe some of them broke so i replaced the ones that looked broken. I know that they are serially connected. One of the leds i replaced was what i assume is the first one (The one right below the usb connector? Or if its the one below the backspace button i replaced that one also). Still not a single led is lighting up.

If i plug the keyboard into the computer the rgb leds blink once. (not all of them at the same time and not everytime i plug it in. But i repeatedly plugged the keyboard in and out and all of them blinked at least once which makes me think they’re not broken?. The RGB LED controller was soldered on by you and it looks fine.

Other than the RGB LEDs the board is working fine. Im pretty sure my firmware is the correct one (ps2avrGB_NKRO.hex) and the num of rgb leds is also set to the right amount(16) here is a screenshot of my settings: https://i.gyazo.com/eb7cadb51322478e7c9a6a37680b38e9.png

    My ordernumber is #2955.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

I think your pcb and firmware are fine.
It is supposed to be due to bad soldering.
    – RGB LED has direction
    – It is sensitive to heat.
    – They are connected serially

Could you show me the RGB LED soldering you did?

    Thanks.
