I’m having this weird problem with my recently built keyboard’s lights. I have it set to when I type it changes color back and forth. For example, I’ll have the RGB lights set to purple and it will change to blue on key press and will return back to purple after key release. I haven’t had a problem until this morning. The RGB light near the usb mini port gets stuck on random colors, like white or yellow when I’m typing really fast. It changes back to the right color after I press any key again and it’s quite annoying. Any ideas what might cause this or what the problem is? Basically the lights when not typing should be one solid color but one light seems to stick at random times.

    Oh… sorry.

I guess it could be due to a firmware bug.

I’ll investigate it as soon as possible,
and let you know the result.

    Thanks.

    Hi

After some investigation, we found that it is not from the firmware, but hardware.
If there is not enough electric currency, your problem happens.

I still have to find out why device dependency exists.
    Some computer works, other not.

And I don’t know yet I could solve it or not.

Temporary solution is to connect it with power USB hub.

I’ll keep an eye on this problem.
And let you know the result.

    Thanks.

Thank you for looking into this. How strong of a USB power hub would you suggest for these keyboards? I do not own a USB power hub and do not know any information on their specifications and power output. I do not mind buying one since I feel it would be a useful item to own

That’s interesting as it’s been working fine up until a point a week ago or so then started to have issues with no hardware changes in my computer setup.

I’ll do some usb port and cable changes to see if results change.
