Any chance that the plates for these boards allow for removing the tops of switches without desoldering?

If not, how reliable are the holtites?  I like the idea of them but I would feel safer with the switches actually soldered in.

    1. It’s not impossible. But I don’t recommend to remove top of switch when it is soldered.
    It could damage your keyboard.

Don’t remove the top of switch when it is soldered. My case doesn’t support switch-top removal.

    2. Soldering is more reliable than holtite connection. For example when you pull out a keycap, the switch also could been pull out.  But for usual usage holtites don’t have problem.

    Thanks.
