There is no special reason why not using Atmega32u4.

I could consider it as a candidate for next version.

Sorry it’s impossible.

Or do you want some keys have north-position in-switch LED, the others south-positioned?
Sorry it is impossible either. One PCB can have only One-sided in-switch LED.

I think your pcb and firmware are fine.
It is supposed to be due to bad soldering.
– RGB LED has direction
– It is sensitive to heat.
– They are connected serially

Could you show me the RGB LED soldering you did?

I think It was due to B.mini occupied the port.
I mean your bootmapperclient can’t recognize 2 ports at once.
When 2 ps2avrGB keyboards are connected, it recognize only one at random.

If you disconnect B.mini, bootmapper client would recognize your B.pad.

And it has only 1 color, Matte frost.
