  • in reply to: How to keep switches from coming off keyboard (holtites) #6400

    Hi Sorry for your inconvenience.

I guess it is due to a switch not installed tightly.

    1. Dissemble body case.

    2. Push your switch to the end till it is stuck to a PCB.

    Thanks.

in reply to: It's only pcb mounted? #6395

    Hi.

Thanks for your interests in my products.

My PCBs support both plate and pcb mounted switches.

So you can use my PCBs with your switches.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Are diffusers offered anymore? #6394

    Hi

Really sorry. The diffuser for B.87 is not available any more.

Now only the diffuser of B.87 EX and B.miniEX is available.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

Now diffuser for 22-mini, B.mini, B.face, B.87 is not available.

I hope you to understand that.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Pre-built keyboard? #6384

    Hi

Thanks for your interests in my products.

    1. In a PCB item, please choose “SMT” option.
Some pcbs don’t have that option. If then, choose soldering options for
    – “controller parts”
    – RGB LED parts(if you need)
    – soldering diodes
    – soldering resistors(if you want in-switch LEDs)

    2. In a PCB item you can find “Soldering switches” and “Soldering in-switch LEDs” when you add switches and in-switch LEDs.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Pricing on Extra Acrylic Layers? #6380

    Hi

Yes you can use 820ohm resistors for different colors on a keyboard.

And I saw your order W6379, right?
    So I’ll reply via email.

    Thanks.

in reply to: 75% Wood Case #6362

    Hi Carlos.

Sorry I don’t know where you can get wooden case.
    I’ve never used it.

Probably you can ask it to online communities such as reddit.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: Pricing on Extra Acrylic Layers? #6355

    Oh, I see.

Actually 820ohm resistor supports all colors.

So when you use 820ohm resistors, you can use all different color.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: Pricing on Extra Acrylic Layers? #6353

    Hi

    A in-switch LED has only 1 color.
It’s not due to resistor’s value. My PCBs just don’t support that function.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: Pricing on Extra Acrylic Layers? #6344

    Hi

    Yes it’s possible.

After placing an order, just let me know what layers you want as extra.
Then I’ll send you an invoice through Paypal.

Here is price table for each layer.

in reply to: Can't connect to Bootmapper Client when using PS/2 #6335

    And for clarification….

    – Even though you use PS/2 converter, it is originally USB. So it supports 6+1, not NKRO
    – BootmapperClient can find your keyboard only when you connect it in USB mode.

So the conclusing is…. USE PS/2 cable, not converter.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

P.S: If you want to change keyboard connection mode by using BootmapperClient,
you should enter Bootloader mode first.

in reply to: Can't connect to Bootmapper Client when using PS/2 #6334

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.
    It’s quite a weird.

    Could you try bootmapperclient?

    – Enter Bootloader mode first
    – Press “Options” tap
    – At the bottom, you can find “Bootloader(HIDBoot)” section.
    – click “set ps/2” button

If it doesn’t work, please try another adapter.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Zealio's fit in Holtite? #6323

    Hi

Thanks for your insterests in my products.

    1. Yes. You can use holtites for zealios switches.

    2. Either way is OK. The fee for installation of holtites is
    – for switch : $15
    – for in-switch LEDs : $15

    3. If you want me to install zealios switches,
you should send the switches to me.
But I strongly recommend that you install the switches by yourself.
It is very easy when you are using holtites.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Do you have any PCB's that will fit in this case? #6321

    Hi David.

Sorry. The direction of enter stabilizer is opposite to mine(B.face).

    Thanks.

in reply to: Opening tops of switches? #6316

    1. It’s not impossible. But I don’t recommend to remove top of switch when it is soldered.
    It could damage your keyboard.

Don’t remove the top of switch when it is soldered. My case doesn’t support switch-top removal.

    2. Soldering is more reliable than holtite connection. For example when you pull out a keycap, the switch also could been pull out.  But for usual usage holtites don’t have problem.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Plans to restock 22mini-B RGB case #6311

    Hi Phillip.

Don’t worry. It doesn’t affect orders previously placed.

And your case will come out this week.

    Thanks.

in reply to: b.mini x2 rgb not working #6308

    There is no special reason.

Whenever you upload a new firmware, just clear EEPROM before that.

    Thanks.

in reply to: b.mini x2 rgb not working #6297

    Hi Mike

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

Your problem is quite a weird thing…

    Please follow the steps below

    Let’s try “EEPROM All Clear”
    – Open BootmapperClient program
    – At the Option tap, press “Set Bootloader”
    – A popup will open when you select “EEPROM All Clear” button. Click yes.
    – Leave it alone for 3 seconds with 3 lock LED light-on.
    Then they will flashing.
    – Disconnect and reconnect USB

And see your RGB LED working again.

If not, I have to see your keyboard by myself.

    I hope it would work.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Plans to restock 22mini-B RGB case #6289

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

It’s permanent to stop producing RGB Diffuser for 22-mini.
But BBB acrylic case is still available.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Space bar size? #6286

    Sorry…. no.

    thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: Space bar size? #6282

If bottom row is “winkey”, the length of space bar is 6.25U.

If “winkeyless”, it is 7U regardless of using 1x winkey.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Keys registering extra key presses #6240

I can’t tell exactly what made that problem.

    But I suppose

    – The soldering pins in the circle of the photo I attached would have been damaged or had flow shorts.

    – Your MCU itself could’ve been broken due to too much heating.

Sorry for not being a big help.

    Thanks.

Could you show me that parts?

in reply to: Keys registering extra key presses #6230

    Hi

I suspect there would be some shorts in MCU pads(legs).

Could you try to clean the MCU pads?

    Or

If you tell me all the keys which register wrongly after uploading a default keymap,
I could pick which pads are bad.

    Thanks.

    Sorry for bothering you.

I need a photo around main controller parts.

    Hi

I think you soldered some switches badly.

Could you show me your PCB which shows soldering parts.

    Thanks.
