in reply to: Question about TKL PCB #6586

    Hi.

    1. YES. The option SMT is including RGB LEDs and RGB Controller.
    2. If you choose SMT, it also including resistors no matter what you use in-switch LEDs or not.
And if you want indicator’s LED, please let me know after placing an order.
Then I’ll add extra resistors for indicators.

    3. If you mean the indicator LED like the photos below, yes it’s possible

    in reply to: B.Face R X2? #6578

    Oh…
You may think of this term as numpad.
(The term “EX” usually stands for “extension”.)

So “b.87 EX” is full sized keyboard of B.87 + numpad.
    – B.87 EX layout :

    – B.87 layout :

    in reply to: B.Face R X2? #6575

    Oh… sorry for confusing you.

    B.face R is same as B.face R X2.

Recently I removed “X2” from the item name because I don’t offer the older version anymore.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Question about TKL PCB #6574

    Hi

    Sorry for confusing you.

    1. “RGB LED parts and soldering” includes both RGB LED and RGB controller.

    2. If you only RGB LED regardless of a PCB, you can add them here : http://winkeyless.kr/product/rgb-led/

    3. Diodes are necessary for switches while resistors for in-switch LED.
For details, please visit here : http://winkeyless.kr/the-stuffs-to-make-keyboard/

    Thanks.

in reply to: When can I expect my order? #6571

    Oh…

Your housing case is coming out today.

So you can’t change the layer color.

I hope you to understand that.

Probably today or tomorrow I could ship your order if there is no defect.

    Thanks.

in reply to: When can I expect my order? #6566

    Hi

    Sorry for late update.
I received your order. Thanks for it.

And… your order is including a set of housing case. It means it would take 3 weeks to ship your order.

And for the RGB Diffuser case…
Sorry I can’t offer it anymore because of too high cost and quality problem.
I’m still looking for a proper manufacturer, but not yet.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Underglow limited brightness #6558

    Hi

As I mentioned, RGB LED brightness is limited by power flow through USB.

Even though you can slide the brightness to the end,
the slider will be going back to middle when you reconnect it.

Usually more than 8 RGB LEDs, the brightness is limited.
In your case you use 24. So it could up to 1/3 out of most brightness.

Sorry for not meeting your wish.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Change RGB led color while toggling fn layers #6549

    At the moment it’s impossible.

But I promise I’ll apply that function in the next version of firmware.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: Underglow limited brightness #6548

    Hi

    USB has electric flow limit.
So if you turn on in-switch LEDs and RGB LED together, the brightness is limited to some extent.

    Thanks.

in reply to: B.face rgb pcb #6547

    Hi

Thanks for your interests in my products.

    1. You can order only stuffs like RGB LED parts, diodes and resistors. In this case you should solder them by yourself. But if you choose “stuffs and soldering”, I’ll soldder them.

    2. The only difference is look between 2 types of diodes. There is no other special difference.
    – http://winkeyless.kr/product/smd-diodes-ll4148/

    3. I can’t see the keyboard you want.

    Thanks.

in reply to: 22mini vs minib? #6546

    Hi

Like all other keyboards, the difference is layout.

    – B.mini :

    – 22mini :

B.mini have one more row than 22-mini.

And it would take 1 week if you don’t include housing case.

3 weeks if you include housing case but not soldering switches.

5 weeks if you include soldering switches.

    Thanks.

    Hi

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

It is almost impossible for a pcb itself to have a defect,
and I always check it before shipping.
    1. Could you tell me your order number?

    2. What is your exact symptom? Not recognized by PC or some keys are not working?

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: BootMapperClient error #6519

    Hi

    1. Did you upload a proper firmware?
(file name is ps2avrGB_NKRO.hex, not ps2avrGB_split_NKRO.hex)

    2. Could you tell me your order number?

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: BootMapperClient error #6515

Can you set your keyboard to USB mode?

You can set it in BootMapperClinet.

    1. Connect the keyboard in bootloader mode by pressing LCtrl.
    2. In bootmapperclient, you can set it in the option tab.

    Hi Benson.

There is nothing I can tell.

Because of this issue, I am offering the option of controller-soldering.

As you know from your experience, it’s almost impossible for a PCB to have a problem itself.

The only thing I can tell is to look into the parts and solder them properly.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: PCB not recognized #6495

    Hi Benson.

Your symptom is showing the soldering problem – bridges, unstable soldering…

I guess your MCU was not installed properly.

It’s quite rare that the soldering of resistors and capacitor would have problem.
Mostly it is happening with MCU and RGB controller(attiny85) soldering.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: PCB not recognized #6491

    Hi

Judging from your own photos you provided….

    1. a resistor(68ohm) was not soldered.

    2. I guess there are lots of shorts around MCU. Please check them with magnifying glass and remove them

    Thanks.

    Sorry for your inconvenience.

Could you try to use the latest BootmapperClient and upload the latest firmware?

in reply to: PCB not recognized #6481

    Hi Sorry for your inconvenience.

Could you show me your PCB ?

And let me know your order number.

Surely you can buy damaged components.
But we should find which ones were damaged.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Possible to Re-Order Acrylic Layer? #6459

    Hi

    Sorry for hearing that.

    1. Yes it’s possible to order each layer separately.
Each layer price is like this

If you want, I’ll send you an invoice through Paypal.

    2. Sorry. I don’t offer a unique custom layer.

    3. If you want to order only 1 or 2 layers,
I can ship them via K-packet. In that case it is $15.
If you want over 2, the only delivery method is Express.

    4. Could you tell me your order number?

    Thanks.

in reply to: B.mini DIY #6425

    Hi Benson.

    Sorry for misunderstanding you.

No. You have to choose only 1  out of 2 options –  SMT or DIY.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Type of B.mini EX's USB connector #6421

    Hi

    My PCBs use mini-USB.

    Thanks.
    Hojin.Yi

in reply to: B.mini DIY #6420

    Hi Benson.

Thanks for your interests in my products.

    1. It’s possible for you to ask me to install controller.
In the PCB item, choose “SMT” option which is including the soldering of controller.

    * SMT
-> Including Parts and Soldering: Main Controller Parts + RGB LEDs + RGB Controller + Diodes + Resistors(R820)

    -> Not Including : Switches, In-switch LEDs

    2. For RGB LED, you don’t need resistors which is used for only in-switch LED.
Anyway “SMT” option contains soldering of RGB LED parts.

    Thanks.

Just reconnect your keyboard to a PC while press the key “U”.

    As I said above

    1. Enter into Bootloader mode

    2. open BootmapperClinet.

    3. Press the button “Set USB”

    Then it’ll be USB mode.

    Thanks.
